What is a brain-based approach?

Movement doesn’t just come from your muscles — it starts with your brain. What you see, feel, and sense about your body in space all shape how you move.

Neurological conditions, childhood development, injuries, and even aging can change how the brain processes this information, making movement feel off, harder, or disconnected.

A brain-based approach focuses on rebuilding that connection — helping your brain interpret and respond more clearly to the world around you. The result? You feeling more in control with your movement!

  • Neuro Movement Evaluation

The first step in understanding how you move. Together, we’ll look at how your brain is responding to movement.

This evaluation can take place virtually, in your home, or in my studio — wherever you feel most comfortable.

Before our session, I’ll send you a short form to learn more about your history, symptoms, and goals so we can make the most of our time together.

  • Coaching Call

Need help with a specific client or want to explore brain-based strategies you can integrate into your sessions or classes?

In a Coaching Call, we take a tailored approach to your goals — breaking down movement challenges, refining techniques, and adding new tools you can use right away.

You’ll leave with clear strategies and practical ways to implement them. Schedule a free intro call first to discuss your focus and set up your session.

  • McLoughlin Scar Tissue Release (MSTR)

Scar tissue can create restrictions that affect how your body moves and feels — sometimes even years after surgery, injury, or trauma.

MSTR is a gentle, hands-on technique that helps release these restrictions using light, specific movements. By improving how the tissue moves and responds, it can reduce discomfort, improve mobility, and even restore a more natural appearance to the scar area.

This work can also support the nervous system, helping your body reconnect and move with greater ease and comfort.

How is this personalized and tailored specifically to me?

No two people move the same way. Your brain and body have their own unique way of processing information and movement — which means every plan should be tailored to you. Whether you’re looking to improve balance, decrease pain and symptoms, or move more efficiently in sport performance, each session is designed around how you respond and adapt.

We’ll use research-based programing, sensory feedback, and real-time adjustments to help your brain and body connect in new ways — creating movement that feels natural, effective, and truly your own.
